Making the NATURAL change

OK so I have a love hate relationship with deodorant I like not being sweaty & stinky, but I hate the fact that I'm putting chemicals on my underarms everyday knowing that what is inside this product is very dangerous and toxic for my body! So I decided to do a little research and found this homemade recipe for deodorant which I've been using for a week now and loving it. I have tried natural antiperspirant's before but none ever really worked for me and after awhile it can get pricy buying and trying others. And the best thing about this recipe is it's pretty much made with stuff thats in your house.

  • 2-3 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Coconut Oil ( organic and cold pressed from Whole Foods)
  • 1/8 cup Baking Soda
  • 1/8 cup of Arrowroot powder or cornstarch can also work
I keep mine refrigerated so its hard or you can keep it at room temp and it will be more like a paste.

6 months

Alright I cant believe you are half way to a year old already. I'm getting kinda weepy just thinking about the fact that I only have a couple more months left before you are walking and not just in my arms all the time. TEAR! OK pull it together. You still are the most easy going baby ever I swear you never cry its crazy. Even when you fell off the couch the other day. (yeah sorry I had to discipline your brother and you decided to throw yourself off the couch.) You still are teething like crazy, but no teeth yet. You are a great sleeper and your in your crib. That was hard for me, but you did not want to co-sleep anymore. You usually go to bed around 7:30 and sleep to 3 nurse and then go back down until 7:30 am. You have not been to the doctor since you were born, but I weigh and measure you at home. You are 19 lbs and 28 inches and wearing 12-18 months. You are long and thinner then Hudson was. You don't like being left in a room alone you want to be where the action is at all times. You laugh at your brother for no reason, you just love him it is the sweetest thing, but I can already see there will be some fighting over toys in the future you want to play with all of his toys and scream when he takes them away from you! God has blessed us with such amazing boys and you are a true angel. We love you!
