Beachin it...

Oh how we love summer in this house. We live at the beach everyday. Alex surf's, I soak up the vitamin D with sunscreen and a hat on of coarse and Hudson runs in the sand and pretends to surf like his daddy... So cute except little does he know he is going to have to go in the water to be a real surfer!

26!!!

Well I'm not going to elaborate on this, but Sunday was my 26th Birthday... Wow the years are flying by. Walking up to a happy boy, a bunch of balloons and a delicious red velvet cake from my favorite bakery. I knew the day was going to be a nice one... That is until I started getting ready for brunch and Hudson had a serious meltdown. Freaking out, crying hysterically completely losing it this was a first in our house. All I wanted to do was put on my make up in some peace and quite. I was standing there confused "what is the problem"  and then I realized he was freaking out because this is not our normal routine he only sees me blowing out my hair and putting make up on when I go to work (I know pretty pathetic) and all he wanted was my attention and for me to be home with him. After all was said and done and I sat there at the table eating my brunch while Hudson was holding on to my arm making sure I wasn't going anywhere. It was at that moment when all I could do was think "wow he loves me so much that he just wanted to be with me." Being a mother is the most rewarding gift EVER!!!

All in a day

On wednesday of last week we headed to the beach to watch Daddy surf. The weather wasn't great, but as the day went on it got better. So with no hesitation when we got home we went straight to the pool. Now Hudson likes the kiddy pool and is still very cautious of the big pool it has taken baby steps to get him to go swimming with us. He usually has a death grip around Alex's neck and wont let go for dear life. So when we got him to put on floaties (which he also doesn't like) and float with Alex barely holding on that was a big deal.

Georgia part 2

Hudson's sweet lil cousin Georgia had a sleep over last weekend and boy the two of them together are so stinkin cute. He just LOVES her and he seriously asked to see her everyday.  So it was a real treat that they were able to come hang out in our neck of the woods!

P.S. Did I mention that my cousin Sunny (Georgia's) momma is also prego and we are only 2 wks apart!!!
