Spring Is In The Air

So we ventured off to the happiest place on earth ( Disneyland ) on Tuesday to get some fun family time and just after the 1st ride Hudson was out like a light. So Alex and I decide to sit at the benches, have a little alone time and just catch up... which was so nice. And I couldn't help but stare ( jealously) at the gorgeous flowers they had everywhere and how well manicured they all where. It just got me so excited for spring and hoping that my green thumb gets a little better this year!

Diaper Free

Well it is finally here! We have been diaper free in this house for a week. It all started last Sunday when Hudson said "Mommy I have to go potty". So no hesitation on my part I ripped off his diaper and sat him on his potty. I know it's not normally not that easy to potty train so I feel very lucky!

Best Buds...

It is really nice when you are able to have kids around the same time as your friends to ensure that your kids will be friends. It's even nicer when your best friend is your neighbor. So needless to say we get joined play dates on a daily basis. Hudson's best friend is the very cute and mischeviouse Henry (yes they live 2 doors down) he is 11 months older than Hudson, but these two boys get along great and I'm sure that they will get in some big trouble together when they get older...

I would like to say that before bedtime we don't allow T.V. at least thats the rule we have always agreed to. Until Mom needs to do dishes and Daddy wants to have a little male bonding time to teach his son about how GREAT the Lakers are. So as soon as I finished the last dish I look over to see that not only does my son Love basketball (well all sports to be exact) but he watches T.V. just like his Father...
